'The Crossing, Part 1' Final Trailer

The great action film director John Woo returns to the battlefield with 'The Crossing,' an epic drama that stars Zhang Ziyi, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Song Hye-kyo, Huang Xiaoming, Tong Dawei and Masami Nagasawa.
Story by Melody Wang, the screenwriter of ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ and ‘Lust, Caution.’
Part 1 is slated to release on Dec. 2 in China. Part 2 is scheduled for release in May 2015.

The content of the film is indeed a 'bit too much.' I suppose that's why the director splits the film into 2 main parts. Overall, the scenes are generally good, although sometimes could be a bit dramatic, but suppose that's what films and arts are all about. The film is also good on focusing on major historical events, yet I think the 3 romantic stories seem a bit unrelated-but again,  I suppose the director has cleverly shows how war could affect different people, regardles of their personal backgrouds, seens so many Chinese war films, this one is generally good compared with the others...

I know that there is going to be a second part...but seriously saw it...and well Sorry JOHN WOO...its just too much. What makes a great movie great, is that it leaves all the right things out.
