For some persons of North Balkans and also in modern Turkey is so upsetting to them to accept that we are Greeks.
We stand the test of time and we managed to keep our language
All modern Greeks have almost the same good & bad habits like our ancestors, the same culture and the same language.
All we can read ancient Greek.
One of the most ancient greek word we are using is malakas.
The meaning of this word for us is so common to understand but so complex for a foreigner.
You will never find a foreigner to say this world with the same way like a true Greek and I don't recommend to a foreigner to use it because 90% the reasalt is disrespectful.
Malakas is bad but also when you feeling very comfortable with somebody you can use it and is like a sign of appreciation and friendship.
The exactly word in English translation is something like soft guy.
I really don't care if someone believes if we are the same like ancient Greeks.
We can't be like them, nobody is the same after thousands of year's.
But I am living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with the most beautiful cultures in the world and most amazing people that you can truly understand when you live to much time with us.
One race that they are like us is Italians especially in the South.
We share common culture and history from ancient times thousands years before.
