I got the Apex [Raw] yesterday & my first impression was this thing is heavy! It's the first gaming keyboard I've ever owned. It feel's high quality. The best feature by far are the back-lit keys.

I have the RGB version of this thing with two rows of Macros on the left (that I virtually never use).

It’s been really good to me over these years, the front rubber feet have been losing their adhesive, but I’ve been able to shift them back into place.

I to this day absolutely LOVE the physical design, the space bar is my favorite feature; the angle of the entire board with the high caps leans the entire board towards you.

Soon it will be retired for an apex 7 with red mechanical switches, but this has been my favorite design and no other keyboard have I kept for so many years.

Maybe you've done this for other videos but can you please do a short segment of only key presses, starting with just single random key presses to much more chaotic presses? Something to help me gauge how loud a keyboard is during gaming and paper writing? Otherwise, thank you! These are very helpful videos!

as for the other part of the question, you can place any processor on any motherboard with the same socket, so yes. if the processor isn't broken, it will work fine, there is no real deterioration over time with components like processors unless you're overclocking massively

I really love the brown that were in the logitek keyboard. Really damn quiet but you still get the click sensation in your fingers

The [RAW] version of this keyboard is black and white only, the more expensive APEX has changeable colors. Also in the APEX, you can choose what parts of the keyboard has what color. It's pretty nice. The Apex [RAW] sells for $70, while the fancy APEX sells for $100. USD, of course.

If you're coming from laptop gaming to desktop gaming this is definitely the best keyboard for you imo, mechanical keys felt big and clunky to me since I wasn't use to that format.

Corsair K90, love it! Aluminium body, mechanical keys, macro keys and dimmable backlighting. Multi media keys etc.. also very good looking even though thats personal.

I haven't tried it yet, can't make a good judgement. Things to note:
The Apex does indeed have the same "almost nkro anti-ghosting over usb" like the Sidewinder X4.
The force needed to depress the Apex keys is really extremely light, slightly lower than cherry reds. But since it's membrane, you will still get the typical "pop-in" feel.
