The Apocrypha is a set of 11 books found at the end of the Old Testament in Catholic Bibles and the Authorized 1611 King James Version of the Bible. The Roman Catholic Church considers the Apocrypha canonical while Protestantism considers it otherwise.

The Roman Catholic Church considers it inspired because it supports some catholic teachings and practices, like praying for the dead and the treasury of merit. Protestantism rejects it as inspired for a variety of reasons, including the fact that it's written in Greek and Latin and the Old Testament is written in Hebrew and Greek. The book of Enoch contains information on the Nephilim that clears up a lot of knowledge that wouldn't need to be added to the Torah because the Israelites already knew about it. Whether it's inspired or not, it contains true information written by the ancient Jews for a reason. That's why it was originally contained and kept with the other scriptures.

Actually, all bibles had the books of the Apocrypha before they were removed in the 1800's by Wescott and Hort

I have a Bible from the 1800s and it still contains the Apocrypha. If these books were originally a part of the original canon, they were removed by someone(s). The Bible specifically warns against removal of text of the Bible as well as adding to it. He also gives us all free will. Just because people took this out, doesn't mean it was not inspired. Bible never says that Enoch actually wrote a book. It says that Enoch, "prophesied of those things, saying" ...it never said that he wrote it in a book. It is simply quoting what he spoke, not wrote.

The Apocrypha has numerous historical facts in it along with scriptures that almost perfectly align with other parts of the Bible. For instance, the Maccabean Revolt was a true event and it is discussed in the Apocrypha. Jews most likely wanted to hide it because in that time they were absolutely humiliated. Also, another example would be Tobit which scriptures that align with the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke and also from Proverbs. The statements are almost word for word for some of them as well. They have also recently uncovered Hebrew writings for some of the Apocrypha.

You said that Jesus did not quote from the apocrypha.
That's not true cuz he quoted 2 esdras 8:3 and 9:15 which is from Matthew 20:16. 2 esdras 16:18-19 and 13:31 is from Matthew 24:6-8.
2 esdras 16:54 is from luke 16:15.
Tobit 4:7 and 16 is from Luke 14:13 and Matthew 6:1. Wisdom 3:8 is from Matthew 19:28. Wisdom 3:10 is from Matthew 25:41

The problem is,
the "apocrypha" is in the catholic bible, the original King James Bible (removed 1985), Ethiopian Bible (partially), the Eastern Orthodox Bible.

The Books of apocrypha exist in Hebrew among the 'Dead Seas Scrolls'.

Fact one is already wrong. Jesus did quote from the Apocrypha. Matthew 23:37 - 38 are from 2 Esdras 1:30 and 33. That's one instance. Modern Bibles don't have references to those books. You have to go back to 1500's versions or older. You go on ahead and keep making claims with no real research beyond where you've been told to look though.

You are ignored some thinks about christianity. In Tobit 6:4-8, the fish represents Jesus Christ. According ancient christians, FISH in Greek is Ι.Χ.Θ.Υ.Σ " ιχθύς, ψάρι" wicth is meaning is " Ι.Χ.Θ.Υ.Σ = Ιησούς Χριστός Θεού Υιός Σωτήρ" (just translate it please). On the other hand, according some Protestants, if we have magic in Tobit, then we surely have magic when Jesus Christ made with his saliva of clay, and healed the blind (John 9). We surely have magic in Genesis, when Jacob's wife Lea, used mandragores for pregnancy..
I think the most Protestants ignoring a large part of christianity.
