And that, my dears, was the reason why my uncle didn't tell his parents that he was going on vacation to Morocco with a few friends in the late 80s. He didn't feel like having that kind of conversation with his mother. So he just drove away, without any notice, he was gone.
Then, after he had already been away for a day, he called home from some gas station in France and said, "Yes, so my destination is Morocco, and I'll be back in about 4 to 5 weeks."

He had a wild youth, as my grandma always says. Looking back, she is very unsure how to feel about his travels. Fear, anger, but somehow also pride and there are always exciting stories at family gatherings.

By the way, he never came back with a tattoo...

I wouldn't be surprised if Anne, with her friend Mary as support, would travel after Oisín. Hiding under the sunhat, checking his drinks and stealing those second ones he isn't supposed to have.

My first holiday without my mother, she insisted to have "the drugs talk" first, and when I told her I never had any, she said "Now don't take me for an idiot! I was once young too, you know! I took LSD like everyone else! "

Was walking along Trinity last weekend and passed by Hog there. Didn't want to bother him, but that was the first time I saw a creator I admire out in the wild before, so that was really cool. Hog is a lot taller than he looks when he's on stage with Foil and Arms

People go on about your acting skills but tbh, I don't even notice them half the time.
Wait! Hear me out! What I mean is, it's SO spot on all of the time, that I forget you're there and it's just ... Like you just *become* the characters in my eyes - yes, even the characters without big or silly costumes. It's crazy cool how you can do that!

Oh there was no Barry in that one but I'm happy he shows up in the end bit! Oisin and his mum's sketches are always my favourite. I really like Anne. Like she's funny but she's also real heartwarming.
