When interacting with an API, you are typically authenticating and authorizing another system, rather than an individual user. Generally, a user’s JWT (JSON Web Token) should not be used for authenticating API requests. API servers primarily handle communication with other systems rather than directly with end-users. oAuth is for authorization. someone already highlighted so i dont want to mention again.
