"Casual" sneakerheads, those who are in sneakers because they were cool or trendy are gone, a lot of resellers are out of business because they can't resell any new releases, the downturn of the economy, the increase in prices of retros all contribute to what we are experiencing right now. The "sneaker" game is back to those who buy because they simply want the shoe. Awesome times to be a sneaker enthusiast were you can walk in after release day and still buy your size. No paying resell, no jumping over hoops to buy.

I like these more than the Concords.
Leather upper > Mesh upper

I remember when the DMP pack first came out. I wanted the 11s so bad but back then couldn’t afford them. Really excited to get them finally. Good to see you are still making videos!

I imagine there would have been a big debate within Nike/Jordan as to the production numbers for this: In this current market, 1 million pairs would likely see way too many end up at outlets, which really smashes the hype/street cred /resale for this icon. And that hurts short term street cred as well as longer term resale to some degree for this icon. But if the above estimate is wrong, a shorter production run may well see unmet demand and only the resellers win there.

Jordan 11s don’t always sell out, but the holiday release most often do, and I wouldn’t expect these to be any different. Maybe they won’t sell out in a few seconds due to quantities, but they eventually will.

I wish they did the leather on all of them. The nylon is almost impossible to clean.

Correct on the original DMP'S the release didn't have the Jordan stamped on the lace locks pre productions dud but they decided to do away with that idea because of the falling off issue, some pairs that were relesed were like back doored sold to people prior to actual release from what I possibly can remember.

I have both concord and gratitude. And I love the concords top 3 grail for me all time. I had the OG pair back in 95, I was young wore them to death. had every version of retro concords since. Personally concords are special to me got so many stories and memories of that shoe.
I coped the 2018 Concords, Because it is my only wearable pair now, I would only wear them when I know the weather is perfect or when I know I going somewhere indoors and clean. Since I coped them I honestly say i only wore them 4 times because I am always stressed about staining them nylon uppers.... when they announced the Gratitude and i saw it had all leather upper it was an instant cop for me. I have since put my concords back in the box and these gratitude is going to be in my regular rotation simply because they are all leather easy to keep clean.

I don’t own a pair of concords so these are the closest I can get to the concords. You just can’t go wrong with the color man. Just my personal opinion,

11s don’t sit in my area. The only men’s 11 that sat was the pure platinums. After that they all sold out within the first day.
