Air Jordan 11 Retro (DMP) 'Gratitude': Review & On-Feet

Based off of the 2006 DMP 11s, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 11 "Gratitude" later this week on December 9th. Replacing the nylon upper for a tumbled white leather instead, it otherwise remains fairly true to the original with glossy, black patent leather, gold coloured detailing, and a translucent outsole that made the Air Jordan 11 famous. I'm shocked to hear that you don't really mess with the AJ11 much anymore. I find the low tops version of the sneaker to be my favorite of the two. They break in much better over time since you don't have to worry about the high ankle collar. That aside, I'm getting these for my pops who loves his retro style basketball shoes especially the 80's - 90's era. Keep up the quality videos Sean!

I hit on my first ever shock drop W for these Gratitude 11's and I love everything about them. The 11's are my all time favorite Jordans and these will go into my collection and rotation with my space jam's, concords and bred 11's. Great video and review!👍

I wouldn’t call Jordan 11s dated in terms of style, we’re just in a period of so much variety which is great! I have always found Jordan 11s to be very bouncy feeling but restrictive at the same time.

Certainly worth it just for the collection even though I’m more of a runner type sneaker person.

I wasn't planning bon buying these at all but the concord 11's are my favorites. Now I like the Leather upper since it's easier to clean. I've never worn a 11 so i'm excited to wear them in the near future. And for some reason you gotta wear these with black trousers/pants to make hem pop. Thanks again for the high quality review. 💖

Gotta call you out on this one Sean. You said the look of this shoe is pretty much outdated but you went crazy over the Jordan 3 White Cements, which many would argue both look and are even more outdated than the 11’s. Love your work but Cmon man lol

Just like what they’re doing with Jordan 1’s, they should start releasing low 11’s. Low’s are just much more comfortable now and much easier to match. Waiting for the day they re-release the low Concords and Breds 11 (without the red collar)

I wear basketball shoes to play basketball 🏀 and for me Air Jordan 11 are the best basketball shoes ever! Very low to the ground ( you have great court feel) and also comfort with the full length air until. The shape of the shoes makes you feel very secure in every movement! I use the IE versions of the shoes! The good ones not the recent ones which I think with the recent ones Jordan brand went to the wrong direction for me! Because as I said I use basketball shoes to play basketball 🏀. Materials in shoes of that category need to be the highest quality possible! The recent IEs don't use leather in the upper and I tried them in store and I think those are life style shoes! I don't know if I will pick this pair because my favourites are the IEs (cement and bred) and also performance wise and I like wearing them casually! And for people who don't know Michael Jordan worn IEs in some games!😎
