Problem of women is too much attention. Problem of men is nobody cares.

Because men's bodies aren't considered sexually attractive to the same degree as women's bodies.

I’m a guy and I’d change my shirt pretty quickly too. I feel like worrying about other peoples opinions is both of our issues on this one.

I feel like it has to do with people generally getting more excited about seeing a naked woman than a naked man.

Yep, different rules in different cultures and many are not fair. Topless women used to be widely accepted on beaches and parks in much of Europe while a topless woman in the Arab world might be promptly stoned to death in public. The US is somewhere in the middle. Plenty of unfairness every day in the world and the secret to happiness is not found in the particular circumstance we are in, but our reaction to our circumstances.

I don't think larger men or chubby men have this privilege and even some skinny men probably don't feel as secure. Realistically it's not likely anyone would see or care. Far as bra vs no bra that's probably something you should write your states representation about. But yes men don't require bras, but we all aren't quick to change shirts, some of us men are just as conscious or even more so. A group of teens sees you their jaw drops and they stare. Put a 300 pound man in the same scenario they laugh, get obnoxious, call him names and points. Just saying, privilege doesn't apply even to groups or people inside those groups. But yea that sucks.

As a guy who has to change his shirt in the car almost every day after work, I've often had this exact thought. I'll be the first to admit it is a privilege, and I truly wish women could feel comfortable enough to do the same without being judged for it

If you have a bra on, it shouldn't feel too stressful. I remember in the '80s women in Munich sunbathing topless by the Isar river. No-one seemed to care.

You should move to France.
You can change your shirt or walk around on nude beaches and the men don’t care because they’re reading books on the beach.

Just another injustice in this unfair world

I have an out of shape hairy body, I feel very uncomfortable about even thinking of changing my shirt in public

Agree and also women wear small bottoms on beach and men wear Bermuda surf shorts so it may be about projection. So if a man wears the small speedo to the beach it's also scandalous. Yet somehow the woman can and no big deal the guys can't get sun on their legs as the norm.

I don't care if a man or a woman change shirt in public. Scandalous is only in narrow minded heads.

In CA, state law allows anyone to walk around naked unless they are try to sexually arouse themselves or someone else. Local ordinances can prohibit nudity at all.
At Univ. California Berkeley, there used to be a student who walked around with just shoes on. No one bothered him. He went to class like that

Yet yeah I can understand that to be anxious having to change shirt
Many guys afraid to take shirt off too like shirts and skins some don't want to because they don't think their body is good. 😊

Not sure where this was filmed. Thought for a minute you were outside my house.

Just read the entire comments thread up to this point. It's interesting to note that everyone failing to understand or poo-pooing your point as inconsequential is male. A couple of exceptions, perhaps, but overwhelmingly dudes.
