An excellent video. At my first attempt I was able to make four tracks from a download of one audio (mp3) file. I skipped the exort as mp3 etc and exported as a.wav file. I then used VLC to convert to mp3. and can now listen on phone, pc, laptop etc.

this was so helpful to me, i recorded a 2 hour long sports podcast with my friend and the first half was on the NFL the second half was on the NBa and i had no idea how to split export this one recording into 2 different episodes. i appreciate you my guy!

Wait, so when i tried to export for multiple, it only asked me for Track1 info, what about the other tracks? Also, it did not split the tracks in export!!

There's a different option that did more what I wanted, *Edit -> Clip Boundaries -> Split New*

That splits it into a new track automatically instead of keeping it in the same track and having to manually move it out
