I would recomend taking off the leather aswell, it sounds way better and also over time the leather ends up stoping it from shifting as it gets in the way being squashed

To get sequential, you have to get the RS Shifter & Handbrake. This can plug in directly to PC's USB port. That will appear as separate device. You can also plug it in via the Racing Adapter, the Driving Force Shifter won't be available in this case. If attached to G Pro wheel base, it will be part of the wheel.

I would recomend to buy a aliexpress shifter its like 40e and made of metal its got the h pattern and the sequtial mode build in it.

i bought a 7 speed hori racing shifter. It has an seqential and a H mode and it is almost the same price as that.

Btw you put the shift up and shift down wrong, to shift up with a sequential shifter you wold push up to go up a gear not down
