Thank you SO much! I am driving a Volvo rental and wasn’t told much about the car, went to drive it and all windows starting fogging while on the highway! The touch screen to control the climate acted as if frozen. Pulled over watched this, did as you said and it was good to go!

I did a factory reset from the car's center screen and everything worked as it should so I'm HAPPY now :) Have a Great one

This fixed my no audio issue also. That kept me from trying to check the audio module fuse under the front seat. A different size fuse that the puller wouldn’t work on. Kudos to Volvo for a very accessible fuse box😮

My 2023 xc40 recharge lost ALL sound! I mean all infotainment, turn signal sound, proximity sensor sound etc. Who would know?

Listen, this type of problem should not exist from the beginning. We are not living in 1999. Volvo is the first brand ever gave this level of incompetency in my car life.

Shouldn't have to reboot your car. My pre-google XC60 never has these problems. Feels like the software needed more testing before it was released. My neighbor has a new XC60 and the software issues are driving him crazy.

My screen is completely black and nothing is working (A/C, speakers, indicator sounds, alert sounds etc…) rebooting doesn’t do anything

Is there a reboot/reset that might clear a failed OTA update? My 2.4 to 2.5 OTA failed and I'm waiting to have the dealer try to manually update it. Would be nice if it could try again without waiting 4 weeks for a service slot.

hi mike, i imported xc90 t8 from japan, i am unable to download UK, i tried fat32 and exfat usb formats with full euorpean maps, i also tried smaller maps too but i get error "maps data cannot be read from USB" any suggestions? took to volvo dealer and he removed japanese map and nowi cant install any maps on it
