The thing is, in Malaysia there are rules of not showing affection in public. Its nothing personal, but the moment they went and do that in public its not a personal thing anymore. They were also a sore in people eyes. They are not welcome here anymore.

Edit: alright. I found out that they apparently weren't invited. The band's agent appealed for them to perform with promise that they would behave. The organisers is suing them for disrupting the festival

I'm a Malaysian but I'm not muslim, bands like The 1975 is the reason why we don't accept every singers to perform. We only wish to be respected no more than that but with people acting like that it's harder for us to even respect y'all.
