I like how Eric says "the took wants to go here...", "the queen prefers this..." because the pieces are speaking to him.
Meanwhile my pieces only tell me "What're you doing? Why did you put us on this square?"😅🎉

Man, if Eric actually dives deep into the Smith-Morra it seems like he'd be a total beast. He made the Stafford look decent, and it's objectively a dog; the Morra is nearly as tricky, and is also objectively vastly superior. Tons of funny lines, and also a bunch of serious ones if the funny stuff doesn't play out.

Seems like a fun combo.

I really enjoyed the counterplay in the first game. A lot of players my level and below are quick to play defensively when attacked, but sometimes the best defense is a good offense.
