The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé offers the experience of sportiness and elegance to the premium compact segment. The second model generation of the 4-door model now lends even greater emphasis to these hallmark BMW qualities. A clear increase in presence and dynamic performance in the design gives the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé a particularly extroverted appearance. An entirely renewed drive portfolio, extensively enhanced suspension technology and innovative systems for automated driving and parking ensure unique driving pleasure.

The new BMW 2 Series Coupé will be produced at the BMW Group’s plant in Leipzig, with the market launch starting in March 2025.

The new edition of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé has been increased in length by 20 millimetres to 4 546 millimetres, while the wheelbase measures 2 670 millimetres. The width of the vehicle is 1 800 millimetres, and the height has been increased by 25 millimetres to 1 445 millimetres.

Drive portfolio comprises four variants at market launch: New 221 kW/300 hp 4-cylinder petrol engine in the top-of-the-range BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé. Further developed 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with 125 kW/170 hp in the new BMW 220 Gran Coupé, 120 kW/163 hp in the new BMW 220d Gran Coupé and 110 kW/150 hp in the new BMW 218d Gran Coupé. All models with 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch as standard. BMW 220 Gran Coupé and BMW 220d Gran Coupé with 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
