IPsec Explained

IPsec is a set of protocols for security at the network layer of the OSI model.
IPsec secures the data when communication is happening between two points over a network by adding encryption and authentication. It is also the protocol that is commonly used by businesses to create VPNs.

Site-to-Site VPN Defined (Gateway router to Gateway router, typically separated by public internet and great geogrraphical distance):

S2S IPSec VPNs operate in Layer 3 of the Seven Layer OSI Model. Where do C2S VPNs operate? What different kinds of C2S VPNs exist?
