Mount Gilboa in the Hebrew Bible or the Old Testament is a Mount mentioned in the book of 1 Samuel 31 as the place where Saul, Israel's first king fell on his sword and three of his sons, Jonathan, Abinadab, and Melchishua were killed in battle by the Philistine.
Mount Gilboa was cursed by King David.
Beit Shen or Beth Shan is the place mentioned in 1 Samuel 31:10 where the bodies of King Saul and his sons were exposed by the Philistines on the city walls.
