JWST Finds The Most Distant Galaxy Ever

The James Webb Space Telescope has spotted the most distant galaxy ever confirmed, which formed within about 350 million years after the big bang.

Nasa’s James Webb space telescope is finding bright, early galaxies that until now have been hidden from view.

Launched last December as a successor to Hubble, the Webb telescope is indicating stars may have formed sooner than previously thought – perhaps within a couple million years of the big bang.

This is an important finding because when and how the first galaxies formed remains one of the most intriguing questions in cosmology said the researchers.

1990-Hubble rewrites our view on the universe. 2021-JW telescope rewrites it again with so much more to give. I’m 39 now hopefully by the time I’m 70 I will be alive for the next satellite telescope to show and explain things we have no idea about now. I love this science shit

I just hate when they hide galaxies from me!

Those galaxies are just a memory now. A distant memory if you will.

What’s weird is I haven’t heard any science that proves the light was traveling that far. It could have just started a straight transmission once the observation was made. It might have not been there before we looked Schroeder

I do not understand why Nasa didn't focus JWS to check planet gilese, kepler or trappist but use that for something that can wait.

That space telescope looks like the empire ship from starwars 🤔

This could indicate that the model for the big bang is not correct.

The big bang "theory" is absolutely ridiculous. And I suppose we're alone as well in the universe?? Smh

Wait until the JWST upgrade comes out and find out that the big bang was wrong. I am always suspecting that the universe never had a beginning.
