@mebwire It really comes down to what do you want to accomplish. If the slides are for TEACHING and not PRESENTING - then yes, more info. If you are going to be presenting - the slides should only support - not overwelm as they often do. This is why I emphasize less words, more emphasis on you the presenter forming a connection with the audience.

I think people are born to give presentations, you must have that ability to speak non stop without making mistakes, smile, body language, write words, all together mixed in the same bowl.

As always great tips. Your interview story reminded me of mine. Several years ago I was being interviewed by a Lt. and Sgt. for a detective position. During the course of the interview I was asked an off the wall question about a news article. I looked the Lt in the eye, smiled and said" I would like to buy a vowel, I have no idea". We all laughed and moved on to the next question. I eventually did get the position. Thanks for sharing.

Great tips for people new to Public Speaking. Don't forget to smile as you deliver and keep a clear head. You have a number of things on your mind throughout this and it makes some of your sentences incomplete.
