IMPORTANT: For people hoping to give admin permissions to friends and use DEBUGMODE or any other admin command - this cannot be achieved on dedicated servers. The only way you are able to use these commands is through hosting your own server in-game and only the host can use the commands. Title of this video is misleading.

The console is disabled by default now. You have to enter "-console" under Launch Options. Then f5 should bring up the console in game. I was struggling with this. Do this under the properties of the actual game Valheim, not the dedicated server.

Doing all these steps and having "server devcommands" mod by jere kuusela installed allows you to use Devcommands/imacheater on your own dedicated server!

hello i made the server with steam cmd when i enter my steam64 id in the admin list i cant use admin commands like exploremap i can type imacheater and it says true
still cant use any other commands ?

Are these steps the same even if your server is on a computer separate from what you're playing on? Would you access the admin list on the server PC?
