I was raised Methodist, but was atheist for 15 years. My wife is Catholic (SSPX), she immigrated from Mexico and we've been married for 13 years. I felt compelled to open my heart and mind eventually, and answer the calling of my conscience. I recently accepted Jesus as Lord, but this time it was from the heart. The seed was planted when I was a child, but now I truly believe in Him. I love the Lord, and truly believe He loves me, no matter what I've done. All I had to do is accept it. And I know with my repentance and acceptance he has forgiven me for those 15 years. Either way I submit my life to the Lord. I will never deny Him!

I was raised protestant, went through years (18-41) of staying away from religion completely and subsequently married my wife, who is Catholic, 5 years ago. I am currently set to begin RCIA in the coming weeks and your daily messages, my parish priest- Father Joseph Stoverink's guidance and my beautiful wife's example, have opened my eyes to so many possibilities. We need to once again have free school for catholics. We all grew up in Irish Channel New Orleans Sr Henry was free. Priest coached football we all want to be priest. Catholic schools are the answer to a lot of our problems and needs. God bless the Sisters of Christian charity who taught us.
