In MCA IGNOU you have to attend practical classes and clear practical exams along with theory papers. You will have a project in final semester and you have to complete it under a guide. You should also submit assignments for all theory papers.

I would never suggest anyone to do ANY KIND OF DEGREE from ignou, it is the worst experience of my life, books time pe nahi milti, padhai ke naam pe to kuch hota hi nahi hai or exam kitne bhi ache se dedo marks kabhi 60 se zyada nahi millenge or most of the cases me to zabardasti fail krte hai taaki wapas se re-evaluation karwaye jo bacha apne answers pe confident tha or inhe or paise mille . Koi dhang se check ni krta

IGNOU launched online MCA in January 2022. Even after 2 semesters, there have been no exams or practicals so far. Every 6 months, they just ask to pay fee for next semester, and then ghost you. There were no doubt clearing sessions in 2nd semester. Even in the first semester, the sessions were extremely poor. LMS portal is third class and is usually not updated with study material, recorded lectures, assignments, etc. IGNOU authorities hardly reply to email queries. Better choose other alternatives if you're serious about your career.

Don't spread miss information on youtube, who told you that u don't need to do projects in MCA, in IGNOU we have to do 2 projects under the guidance of teacher in order to complete the degree along with this 70% of attendence in practice is required to sit in the examination OR Bhi etna bhi easy nahi Hota ignou ka mca exam clear karna KI bas exam me jakar paper do or clear hogaya degree, it require dedicated study to clear the papers IGNOU paper checking is very strict.
Kuch bhi post karana se pahle research kar lea karo .

Still i consider distance MCA kyunki regular mca(not from NITs or DU) ke baad 80% cases mein 3-4 lacs ka package lagta hai as a fresher aur distance se krne se 2 years ke experience bhi ho jata hai aur mca bhi aur 2 years ke baad achi hike le skte ho.

Who told you there is no project in mca. Check the list .. also practical and and lab. Research properly brother.

Please mind before making negative statements. Google declared that they need knowledge and no degrees. My friend done mca through ignou and now she is getting 1lack per month after 5 years. She didn't feel any issue with mca from ignou. What the employer is looking for the knowledge and command over languages and frameworks, etc
