Places like CNN are clouded by confirmation bias. You can't see what people are saying, and you can't see how badly your own coverage looks to the rest of America.

When I was in school there was no shortage of unbalanced teachers abusing kids, so I wouldn't want them to have guns in class. However a trained security team with guns and not just one lone guy, that patrol the school at all times might act as a deterrent. Also having a detection area that students have to pass through just like the airports, it's sad I know, but that's what this world has come to. " Safety before convenience " is the only solution to take a plane, go into a court house, and now to enter a school!

This Scott Israel must removed from his post immediately. And his entire staff dismantled and reorganized. Imagine how much taxpayers have to pay their salary and expensive equipment, only to let them allow criminals to blow out their sheer joy of shooting for some personal issue with the school. The kid flunked out of school because he was born a failure and he has showed some sign of violent behavior. So he dumped his personal frustration on others?
