This "Shudder Fix" has been around for quite a while, and it does work. Several Transmission shops use this with every trans. service they do. It will NOT harm the trans. at all, in fact it is actually better for it.

HOLY CRAP This stuff actually WORKS. I was ready to pull my transmission and rebuild it until i saw this video, usually don't buy into the automotive snake oils but for 8 bucks it was worth a try totally shocked my trans shifts smooth and the shutter is gone .2011 Chevy Silverado Z71

I used this on an cadillac escalade with mobil 1 synthetic atf it works really well the dealer wanted $400 I spend $150 and about 2 hours to do the job I highly recommended

The Shudder Fix Worked for me for about 8 months then it slowly started coming back. Guess I'm just gonna have to run it till I have to replace the transmission. It's my daily driver so I can't just not drive it.

That stuff works well, but typically only for a year or so depending on driving conditions. The torque converter shudders due to insufficient fluid volume/pressure, that’s why it really only happens at low engine speed. Sonnax makes a clutch bypass valve that is a PERMANENT fix and installation is pretty easy.

I have a video all about it on my channel should you be interested. Changing Mercon IV and additives on a regular basis gets expensive quick.

yes it worked for me !!! Ford Transit 350-HD 3.2L Diesel 104, 000 miles, i wouldn’t say its 100%, more like 90% so far after 15 miles

In some cases it takes more than one tube of the stuff for it to actually resolve the issue. It really depends on the situation but if you notice one tube helped to a certain degree but it didn't eliminate the problem, in some of those cases adding a second tube can be the difference between a 70% improvement to no longer having the issue. This is especially true for trucks but even some cars need that second tube for the best results. In one case of a Chevy Silverado that had a very stubborn shudder/slam it took a total of 3 tubes to finally get the shudder to completely stop. Even so it was a relief to the owner of the Silverado because nothing else had worked, not even a complete fluid replacement with Mobil-1 blue which they had done at the dealership to try to resolve the shudder along with a new torque converter. Only the shudder fixx was able to resolve it and only after 3 tubes. Every case is a little different and some times a situation might call for more than one tube.

Idk if you know why the shudder is happening but it’s most likely the torque converter not the trans. The fins that move the hydraulic fluid wear out over time and the shudder stop helps it give the fins more grip on the fluid so it doesn’t slip and make the trans studder.

Thanks for the video. Made a huge difference on my 2008 crown vic.. we'll see how long it lasts. If it doesn't last I'll look at rebuilding the valve body next. Seems pretty straight forward but didn't want to dive into that just yet.
