What am I missing here? In video 33, you used the wizard to add the subform that it looks like you're calling on here in this video. What I need to know is how to create a subform without using the wizard. Is that even possible?

Update: N'mind. I figured it out. I just added the form in the form navigator as a regular element, fixed up the properties, then while that was selected, went to the Form menu and added a Table Control, then fixed up its properties using the wizard that came up at this point. At least it's possible.

This video is smarter than AI - never could find a good answer for how to add multiple subforms manually (without the wizard, which only offers one subform). Haven't tried it yet, but see no theoretical reason why this method of adding a subform wouldn't work for multiple forms.

HiYour series LibreOfficeBase (36...etc) is absolutely brilliant. I love your steady, methodical, calm approach. It's taken me from a totally "green" Database novice to constructing a very useful Dbase for my small business. The one thing that I can't obviously see how to achieve is change the column heading names (Dbase field names) to something more user friendly. For example: Database Field name "purchase_qty" to simply "Qty" on fields when they are displayed in a spreadsheet style layout for example as a subform. In my particular real life example I have  "Customers" table & an "Orders" (one to many relationship). For the customer Mr Smith" I want to show all of their orders in a spreadsheet style subform, but with user friendly column headings.Your help would be greatly appreciated.TksSteve

at 6:32 you're deleting a field inside a form control. What is the right way to add a field to a form control (master or slave, no matter)
If I right click on the header bar, there's "insert column" option, but the opening menu doesn't give me fields, for some weird reason it shows control objects. I figured out it's possible to open a table in another window and drag onto a 'table control' inside a form. But what is the right way to do it? this feels like a hack

Employee-ID in the sub-form table has two decimal places ("1.00" instead of "1") although in the table it's an integer. If you don't like that, go to the edit mode right-click on the column name (employee-ID) and choose "Column...", in the dialog box set decimal accuracy to 0.

6:25 editing subform columns is as easy right clicking on the column header!

Quick question! - I'm following your instructions in creating a subform in an existing form, but the "field selection" dialog doesn't pop up when I drag out a table control box. Any ideas??
