So hotel workers want to get paid $30 an hour plus tips so it's about $35 an hour. This about the pay of someone who has master's degree.

Look we’re a random family from Texas who vacationed in July and stayed at the Marriott Waikiki Beach for 10 nights. Housekeeping was fantastic. Same lady every day but one. I can’t speak to corporate greed or anything else but the $50 a day resort fee and the $50 breakfast seemed like huge money makers for the property. Neither for nor against unions. Just do what’s right for both sides here.

Do it the way unions do get everyone a 25% wage hike then layoffs 50% of the workers

union workers should have a higher training in all aspects of the job including customer service.. sadly most union workers now only have minimum training in the job but lots of training in increasing money to the union bank account..

Wonder what their union dues are out of their paychecks

Sad the way they treat the working class people. Same thing they did with the plantation workers, same families too.

Wait until they are replaced by someone that actually wants to work. If that creature actually exists. Then they’ll cry about that.

They like better pay and wages , then they should either force retirement or start laying off people. Like the McDonald's in the mainland when the wages went up, and just suck it like everyone else who struggling. Deal with it or move .this is just my own opinion, it sucks but the struggle is real !

If you do a job that anyone off the street can do. Then you not gonna get paid very much. Plain and simple. This is why you got to get higher end jobs.

Hoping they receive higher wages. These people work hard and their hospitality is far better than most places. They deserve more. God bless ❤️✝️

THE HOTELS NEED TO OFFER TIPS ON THE WAGES TOBBE SPLIT BETWEEN THE WORKERS SALARIES. THEVSAME AS RESTAURANTS BARS CLUBS AND. ADULT ENTERTAINMENT VENUES. WORKING IN POVERTY IS EMOTIONALLY MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY EXHAUSTING TO KEEP WORKERS IN A ENVIRONMENT THAT NEEDS JOBS
