Brakes smoking after brake job

These brakes are smoking hot!

If you replaced the rotor and didn't use parts cleaner on them first, the cozmoline will smoke for a few miles afterwards.

I am boschmechanic i have also experience for that problem... I clean only water and while the wheel is turning... After that smoke is gone

Was the clover sticking I just got new breaks and rotors and both front passenger and back passenger side is smoking when i drive somebody said it’s normal give it a day but is it kool to drive like that

Did you have to replace the rotor after that?

Same issue with my Hyundai verna crdi.. When I'm stuck on mountain traffic... Mechanic change caliper and break pad.. It is right decision?

Same thing happened to my Si. The rear drivers caliper froze on the inner pad. Caused it to wear out.
When the new pad/rotor were installed, the seized caliper caused extra friction on the new thicker pad and result was a small fire.
Thankfully I spotted it quick got moving. Got the fire out.
Getting a new caliper tomorrow, and another set of pads and rotors.

Might be a stuck emergency brake. I doofed that on my truck. Fixing it now.

It’s not the caplier u forgot to clean them break cleaner it will be fine
