Our ancestors went through a lot to get us here and I truly believe that we hold some of the trauma and the pain within our bloodlines. So listening to ancestral music helps heal those wounds and show respect to those who got us here today.

This got me home from work. I’m in so so so much pain. I take public transportation and asked the ancestors to have a certain seat open for me, and that exact seat was open even during rush hour. I’m still in a lot of pain but it’s more manageable.
