The Anacrusis - Official Early Access Launch Trailer

Check out the trailer for The Anacrusis, the sci-fi, four-player, cooperative first-person shooter that is available now on PC (Steam Early Access, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store), as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in Game Preview, and is available with full crossplay between platforms.

The Early Access and Game Preview launch serves as Season Zero for The Anacrusis, introducing players to the first four survivors of the alien attack across the first three episodes of the game's story. In this first act, teams of four players explore The Isolode, a massive luxury starship stranded at the edge of explored space and infested with aliens.

why would anyone play this instead of the better versions of the same thing that already exist...

such as left for dead..or even killing floor for that matter

it's just like ....why even go to the effort..

this whole thing is just ...ill conceived. the shameless mediocrity is honestly just flat out offensive haha

It's.. just Left 4 Dead with a 60's space desktop theme, isn't it? I was hoping for more, but this is pretty blatant. Even the "special infected" are the same: the grabber is just the Smoker, the brute is just the Tank.

The style isn't enough to make it stand out for me. Hard pass.
