The Anacrusis: The First 15 Minutes of Early Access PC Gameplay (1440p 60fps)

Check out the opening moment of The Anacrusis: a four player co-op first-person shooter in the style of Left 4 Dead, coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this month.

The Anacrusis will release to early access on January 13. As well as arriving on the likes of Steam and the Epic Games Store, the futuristic shooter will also be available to players subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, meaning that if you've signed up to the service you'll be able to play the game at no additional cost.

Honestly this does not get my adrenaline pumping, it's just to family friendly. Like Gore, Fun ragdoll physics and movement are what makes or breaks these co - op games with great humour. Like some platforming or fun would be hell of a addition ..

Animations are a nice thing to have. Right Devs? Right?

Why do a lot of these modern games skip out on animations/physics/A.I. and other attention to detail? They think just adding a non-interactable environment is enough, but everything always looks so soulless because nothing interacts with each other in any real way. Nothing feels tangible or alive. Just set dressing. Just another dull sci-fi shooting game with plastic looking interiors and cookie cutter characters and scenarios. No real variety. Even has generic, stock-like music. Early Access has really lowered the standards of quality.

This games aesthetic is nice but everything else looks so uninspired. They literally named the enemy that grabs you from behind… the behind grabber.

Had this game as a January check-it-out, but geez, just seems shallow as all get out while not possessing any 'wow' in enemies or animations or hidden bonus-XP objectives/events.
Even as an Early Access, looks to be one year away from having any sort of an intriguing hook for investing hours into it.
