The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mssql-server : Depends: gawk
Depends: libldap-2.4-2 but it is not installable

ok how did you get the sql server mgmt studio to open up, my understanding is that it is not on Linux but you need azure data studio, you did not show how that was done?

Unfortunately there's no SSMS for linux version. Azure Data Studio can't replace SSMS.

U should explain their are limits to the express version in terms of ram and database size or did microsoft drop that in 2019

Ok this was fantastic and really well done... until the FOR ATTACH at the end of the repo... then you just POOF have it installed but.
1. Im still at the 11> command line... you missed a step or 2 there. 
2. How do i get the SSMS gui up?
3. What do i do with the cli interface that is open?

Please help me i cant install the tools unixodbc-dev it has a error that says 'unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages and also i try to run sqlcmd it also has a error that says sqlcmd: command not found
