This popped up just as I was getting ready for bed. As much as I wanted to dig into it right away last night, I believe waiting for morning was the better choice. This was the perfect wake up show. Another winner on your hands George but I wouldn't expct any less. I really enjoyed the little bits of human moments where the captain spent some time just talking to his crew on the bridge, getting to know a bit about each one. I really enjoy character moments. There were also some really great musical choices. I liked Holt's reverent remarks about the earth when the Antyllus arrived at the planet and that music when the planet was fully on the screen was so majestic. The hoover cars were a stroke of genuis. Again, amazing how you stretch your budget and make it all work so believably. 33:13 Those are some georgeous shots of the ship and foreground. The chat that Holt had with his security officer was pure gold. We need to see more of her. Finally the climax: excellent and what an ending. This was a very polished episode. I enjoyed every bit of it. Luckily for myself, I won't have long to see what happened after this. Great work George and team!
