STARSHIP ANTYLLUS - EPISODE TWENTY ONE

Season Three begins! Starship Antyllus: Episode 21 "Nothing What It Seems" Picking right up where we left off from last episode, the Antyllus and her crew face off against an unexpected new danger! From George Kayaian comes high quality Trek on no budget!

Loved this! I feel like I need to rewatch episode 20 again. A nice examination of the effect extraordinary evolution has on individual humans and the roles conscience and compassion play in the transformation. It seems that Admiral Moz while struggling somewhat with this transition is doing much better than Gary Mitchell did. Mitchell could have with his god like powers could have totally repaired if not enhanced the capabilities of the Enterprise but chose not to other than warning Kelso about the damaged impulse engine parts . Holt helps Moz not completely lose his humanity and the Admiral makes things right for the Antyllus and the kidnapped admirals. His motivations for taking the other admirals is interesting because Moz seemed to realise his own limitations in seeking to add the wisdom of the admirals to his own. Moz begins to display a path towards a balance of being possibly the best of being human with his new powers and he shows this by his desire to protect the Federation. I'm hoping Moz will break the trend of some humans when they achieve god like powers being destroyed by said powers. I think James T. Kirk would admire Captain Holt's powers of persuasion in protecting and saving his crew. Also enjoyed that the other crew members with Holt got to remember their experience as well.

The episode was great, i was so excited when that notification popped up and it did not disappoint. Knowing the struggles you had to go through with moving, and building and rebuilding sets I am happy for you and your whole crew you were able do this i know its been a challange and it didnt go unnoticed. Now what are you waiting for we need the next episode, JK your efforts are much apprciated. live long and prosper all my trek friends.

I must have missed this one but bravo for a wonderfully written episode. It always amazes me George that you are able to take a limited budget and milk it for the very best in telling your stories. I throughly enjoyed this one, especially the talks between your character and the admiral. A lot of food for thought in that conversation. Your films demonstrate the purest form of science fiction and I appreciate the honor of watching your films. Thank you for a compelling story once again.

Admiral Mox has reviled his true self at last and now he wants to duke it out with Frost when that happens someone is going to have a rotten day but still it should be an awesome fight 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Captain Holt Allen needs to confront Frost face to face and tell it is on like Donkey Kong!!!

Outstanding episode and well-worth the wait! I loved the disorienting camera angles straight from the TWILIGHT ZONE playbook! The ship and crew molecularly reassembled as the house was a whopper! I was hoping you guys weren't walking on someone's face...lol... Interesting the two crewmembers remembered where they were but Sharb didn't remember what they all encountered. Maybe you didn't want to turn Sharb into a Guinan wannabe. If you did, I'm sure Whoopi would object...lol.. Good job to everyone all around! Looking forward to the next episode!

Woo hoo! A brand new Antyllus episode, I am so happy! And I probably shoulda watched episode 20 first, but that's okay, I just loved seeing one of my favorite crews back! "Let's pursue a strategy based on your stomach." Epic, Sharb! And the return of Admiral Mox! But ooh, it's Mox with a God complex. This will be an interesting final season.

Really nice work, George. I particularly liked the disturbing effect of the handheld camera shots and the interesting appearance of the main antagonist. :)
