A pharma company $15 billion for the St blue badge verification policy of Twitter!

A fake account for the brand Eli Lily was created by an anonymous user, who paid $8 for the verification, and no proof was asked by Twitter in return After verification, a single tweet from the take account resulted in a loss of $15 billion in market capitalization for the brand process

After this fiasco, Twitter paused its new blue badge verification policy and said it needs more planning and overhaul.

Many such take accounts were created for other brands Tesia, Petroleum, Lockheed Martin, etc just to run their reputation, and erode wealth
