Why Won't Anyone Stop The War In Syria?

With so many countries involved in the fighting, it's no surprise that Syria's civil war isn't ending any time soon.

Because it's a proxy war for those countries who can't attack each other directly, but still have power struggles to work out. Also a battleground for groups who don't want to fuck up their own countries with war, but still want to kill their enemies. And finally, a profit center for corporations and people who profit off of war. Except for the passionate few on the ground, nobody fighting there gives a fuck about the original cause and issues, or even about the safety and freedom of the everyday Syrian people. It's not about what you are fighting for, it's about which side you are on. There are no rules, and no limits.
