I have a real soft spot for the Z, having bought the 370 when it first came out. This new one maintains the iconic character and the auto at least is genuinely quick (though I now drive a Tesla Model 3 Performance, so quickness is relative). At $20k more than the outgoing model, I'm not sure about the value, but I'm glad that they're still making a Z car.

Its a lot faster than I'd have imagined. Can't help but feel this car should have come out back in 2017-2018 though.

The boost is all over the place at different revs. Does that make the power band inconsistent? Or does it actually make it more smooth?

Poor choice by Nissan for the using 9spd Auto Mercedes-Benz gearbox.They are ordinary and problematic gearboxes.They should have used 8spd ZF gearboxes torque converter BMW use in M cars and non M cars.Overseas reviews said the handling was much better in the old car the new one is soft. Throttle House Car reviews from Canada drag races this against the Supra the Nissan Z was easily beaten

Am I the ony one who noticed it. A Handbrake is located on the Passenger side. I think they just went mental. Looks like it is mostly meant for left handed steering Wheel Vehicles.
