Really helpful video, thanks! Sennheiser was for me the best balance of good voice and background audio. Rode was best for voice but I thought background audio was too obtrusive. But as a wireless option it is more flexible - for example if the camera is a distance away from you.

I 3d printed a small cold shoe adaptor, that slides omto the media mod, to position the Rode Video Micro2 slightly higher and about 2 inches back. Keeps the furry & foam covers out of shot and works great.

1:00 you didn't mount it correctly, the red wire has to be attached to the shock mount, in the wheel that you use to tighten up the mic to the coldshoe. This keeps the mic from shaking like crazy.
