I thoroughly disagree about Samsung Tab S6 Lite. Out of all the tablets in this list Tab S6 Lite is one of the best (if not the best) tablet for note taking, Samsung Notes is outstanding for note taking and S pen is the best stylus in any android tablet hands-down. Plus it is included so you don't need to spend extra. It is better than iPad at one aspect since the display on S6 Lite is laminated vs the non-laminated on iPad.

Oppo pad is amazing, recently purchased it and im loving it.

Only drawback was headphone jack, but i mostly use bluetooth headphones so that was not much of in issue

The best overall options around 15000 would be the oppo pad and the xiaomi redmi pad

Ipad problem is it's just 60hz and the small 64gb is clearly too low in 2022, unless you're integrated with the ecosystem, the mi pad 5 is a solid pick. Just imagine before reaching another 3 years of software support, you will be lacking storage and furthermore in that duration there will always be a more powerful and well priced android tablet. You can just sell the old one and upgrade to a new one.

Pretty impressed with your presentation of tbe mid range tablets and specifically the REDMI Tab..one important feature you forgot to mention is that both variants of the REDMI tab offer storage of 128gb at below Rs.20, 000/= which no other tab does and mainly for this reason you have convinced me to go for the REDMI tab. Im a dedicated samsung fan but the TFT screen and underwhelming display of the A8 is a definite turnoff..i agree with you that for the price samsung A8 is overpriced!! My Q is..Will the REDMI tab be compatible with a Samsung phone on wifi hotspot?

Well, I already bought Xiaomi pad 5, very satisfied with overall performance & pricing. Although I strictly recommend avoiding Xiaomi pen & Keyboard. Instead opt for Ant esport MK 1500 mini.
Edit after 5 months of use-
Everything has improved,
Little to no bugs.
Although it's Android 12 but since it's stable I have no issues.
Performance is Flagship level.
The speakers is awesome.
The camera has improved and is strangely better than the iPad 9th gen.
I strongly recommend avoiding rotating back covers cause they have something like a dial which ended up scratching my back panel in circles.
I think it's still the perfect choice.

No doubt the ipad is better, at this price I'd rather have a 128 or 256 storage and better sound quality, gotta be honest 64GB for that price is definitely a big no for me, i can download a few apps and it's taken half of its storage already, i reckon xiaomi pad sd860 is pretty decent running at mid to low setting, i never bother playing games on higher settings because i need more fps for shooter games anyway
