I‘m a very creative person since… „always“… I can knit, felt, restore old furniture and so much more… but all this stuff is my „safe“ space. None of it was scary for me in the beginning… But as an artist I still feel insecure. I overthink every single drawing, line and color. I don’t feel free…have watched so much courses, so much tips and exercises how to let it flow, how to overcome this fears not to get a perfect painting. It happens so often that I stopped and don’t finished the painting because it’s not good enough for me… I know it takes time to grow, I know I need to practice, I know all this wise advices, but I don’t know what my problem is. And I‘m painting digitally most of the time🙈 This is so stupid. Technically I’m not really bad, but it doesn’t flow… my story won’t come out… hope you can understand what I mean. As an example I‘ve a painting in my mind with a really important story, but I know I’m not good enough so only sketched a thumbnail to don’t forget this but never started. I admire all the artists who just sit down and start drawing. Thank you for all your words ❤ and lovely greetings, Nelly
