I went to the psychic gym 3rd. I died instantly. Yeah no, it is really hard to play the game out of order. This is super helpful.

My issue is i finish a place talk to the pokemon center for where to go next and it's always the wrong level for my team and far too high. The open world with out scale is fine, but they REALLY needed to provide a guide or indication as to what level each place is or a rough order for the player to follow in a rough level order

I really enjoyed the path you've laid out. Not only from a game play/leveling experience, but from a narrative one as well. It feels very much like I've been playing through the pokemon tv series with how varied my adventure has been between the different paths.

Tbh i agree with the map but the best thing to do is to kill the crab titan first bc he will give u a sprint for ur miraidon/koraidon wich will help u travel + its super easy to do

I just did everything clockwise, starting from number 1, the only thing you need to keep in mind is to skip 18, keep going clockwise, and just get him last

In the description they give a very tiny hint, They will say things like "a great stop for beginners" For harder places it will say "he's does not play around" or "she's an expert in her field" or "be wary"
This is is the description when you hover over a place and press the + symbol or whatever the info symbol is for you

I prefer the correct order- theres no point being mixed with high level pokemon that you can't catch or train because of level

Thanks Blaines! You're kinda forced to do it in the right order. If you don't the further you get into the game the worse it becomes because you're too over-levelled.

It just feels weird that you have to go back and forth on the map. Like Klawf is in the East, Bombirdier is in the West. Bug Type is in the West, Grass in the East

I accidentally beat the ice gym as my 3rd gym. she was pretty hard since she wiped out my whole team and I had to revive my Skeledirge 3 times to beat her. That’s when I realized I needed to watch this video lol

Haha I skipped going to school and before my second rival battle, I had a Skeledirge (and a team that was ready for the Elite 4). Only my Skeledirge would obey me, but needless to say Sprigatito stood no chance. To top if off, I traveled everywhere I could on foot to allow me to fly to most pokemon centers as soon as I finished the tutorial. I could not challenge gyms, fight titan pokemon, challenge team star, or access any cutscenes. I did not need to get slowed down by cutscenes and side-quests, though. The warp to battle glitch works when you throw a poke ball across a cliff gap or a river, and if you are in a tight corner, you can glitch up a cliff face. Really shortens the game in some ways. The psychic badge was my second badge.

I’ve been playing going clockwise from the start doing both victory road and the legends path.
But I’ve successfully got to my fourth gym (did bug, water, normal) and I think I’m at the ice gym now.
But here’s the problem I’ve been having:

The badges only go up a little bit for what level you’re Pokémon have to be to listen to you.
And I’ve had to get my Pokémon leveled up to a little higher, not even to defeat the gyms.
But also, non of my Pokémon can take a hit unless they are really high level.

So…what on earth do I do about trying to keep my Pokémon not over leveled to the point where they’ll quit listening to me, yet able to be just strong enough to take down the gyms without dying in 1 hit each..?

Unless Im missing something im pretty sure the star crews are blocking paths to other gyms so you have to fight them no matter what.

I found a shiny piggy within the first 5 min of playing lol was pretty neat.
