In this video you'll learn how to say the alphabet in Spanish, along with examples for each word.

The Spanish Alphabet looks very similar to English, but there are important differences in pronunciation as well as one additional character that we don't have in English. That character is "ñ" and it makes a "ny" sound. This makes for a for a total 27 characters in the Spanish Alphabet. This is the official Royal Spanish Academy version that has changed has changed over time and no longer includes "ch", "ll", "rr", and the name for the letter "y". "Y" once was officially pronounced "i griega" (in Spanish), which translates to "greek i" (in English), but now has adopted the simpler name "ye".

Se les olvidó la "LL" (elle o doble L) que no existe en el alfabeto en inglés, pero es muy usado en el español y tiene su respectiva pronunciación.
