I’m am very familiar with this beautiful piece, because 24 years ago when my daughter was born, I got a cd from the hospital with classic music for babies and these beautiful piece is included.

Everytime I hear this I'm reminded of late winter slowly turning into spring. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, since I recently got introduced to gardening.

Aah, so magical, so incredibly beautiful. I first heard this played over the PA at a supermarket when I was 10yo and it has haunted me, not knowing who played or what it was called. Then it was about 25 yrs later when I discovered its name and learnt it was by Edvard Grieg. Three years ago in 2017 when I was overseas for my 50th and lucky enough to visit Norway, when one day I was walking through a beautiful garden in Bergen and there I saw a bronze statue of a man. I went closer to read the plaque and to my utter surprise it was dedicated to the composer Edvard Grieg. I cried tears of joy standing there, looking at his statue! Life is such a mystery.

We play this song in band. We play it on our instruments. I play flute and it sounds beautiful when it’s just the flutes playing in sync!

OMG THIS SONG I still remember when I was in training band, it was one of the first songs we learnt and its so nostalgic

This was the first piece of classical music and fell in love with. Played to my morning assembly as children convened. Still love it today as much as I did then; and then was 50 years ago !

I heard this piece of music while on hold when making a telephone call to Ireland on my job almost 30 years ago...i knew the tune but i could not find it just by that even though i tried many times...i finally saw a peony gardening video with the music in the background and i somehow matched it on YouTube and finally i found a piece of music that had captivated me for so long...
