As an African American, this is the type of diversity I want to see in media. We don't need to be placed in places we never were like Viking armies or the Russian court when we already have a TON of great, REAL black men and women in history that have done great things. Not sure why Hollywood thought we'd think otherwise. They were just doing us a disservice.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and I was honestly suprised I would, when I first heard of Lawman Bass Reeves I told myself, no more Yellowstone spin-offs, but I was surprised how good it was considering the only actors I new were Dennis Quaid and Donnald Sutherland.

The series was well shot, acted, presented, palpable and riveting. I didn't expect the twist at the end.

It was great to see where Bass started and where he ended up. I hope it's all true❤

First of all, kudos to Art T. Burton for doing the research on the great Deputy U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves! I just purchased his book "Black Gun, Silver Star."

I have watched just about every "behind the scenes" video for this Paramount Pictures goldmine! I love the way that everyone from David Oyelowo, the writers, the director, the cast, the crew, the extras are all single-mindedly focused on the task of making this a masterpiece! And, they have!

Deputy U.S. Marshal Bass Reeves was great, phenomenal, incredible, preeminent in every way! He deserves to have his story told! I am extremely happy that it has come into fruition!

Love the line in this trailer, "Your wicked ways are over!" God is awesome!
