I went to the same restaurant myself with the Vegan Runners group after the march. Shame to have missed you. I had the sirloin steak and it was insanely close to the real thing - nearly to the extent that I instinctively felt bad because my brain, remembering the taste from my pre-vegan days, told me I was eating an innocent animal. That's a bit of an odd compliment but if this helps people make the transition then I'm all for it!

I just got a bunch of vegan thick cut filets & a vegan whole cut loin from Juicy Marbles & the two filets i had so far were great. I salted up all sides and it browns perfectly in 8-9 minutes in a non-stick pan with EVOO. I basted with Miyoko’s butter and it’s super savory and yummy. Some complain that the texture is like pulled pork and it does shred like that if you cut it that way. Anyway, thumbs up from this vegan.

They gotta push this onto new generations who are not familiar with how REAL meat tastes. Personally, I'm not eating "fake" printed food.🤮🤦🏾‍♂️

Can I ask as I'm genuinely curious, your vegan and don't eat meat so why do you eat alternatives that taste like meat? Doesn't it remind you of the animal products you've eaten before? No offence intended I'm genuinely confused xx

Its funny vegans will try to make a carrot look and taste like a hot dog but meat eaters have no desire to make a hot dog look and taste like a carrot.

Choosing to be vegetarian its about mantain a dicipline to avoid the temptacion of craving to comsume and feeling what non vegetarian feel, Eassy to see how you Enjoy to Eat meat ! Double standing!
