You are helping this English speaker tremendously! -- explaining precise meanings that were not obvious, some that I was misusing or guessing wrong about. Very clear, efficient learning. Merci beaucoup.

J'ai trouvé la définition de l'expression "tu m'étonnes" "étonnante" étant donné que "étonnant" signifie plutôt "surprendre." Donc, même si je parle couramment, y'a tjrs des choses à apprendre :) Merci.

5:29 - what's _got_ into you?!
5:33 - you're asking _for_ it.
6:45 - how _would_ you know
8:00 - I _don't_ believe it (see the sitcom: One Foot in the Grave !)

Can these expressions be used in the same way with vous if you are not tutoyering someone...or would that sound weird? Vous parlez! Vous m'étonnez!

Wow. These are great. I’m using living languages ultimate French Advanced. I’m going France in a month! So I’m able to read French script. However I can’t listen without a script well and I can’t formulate my own conversation. Any tips?

Quant à moi, j' apprécie énormément vos attentions ! !
En espérant que l' amélioration, mon. français comme langue étrangère, n' en prendra guère cent-sept années pour se réaliser. 😊

I really enjoyed this video. I do have une petite question. I am wondering if you have made a mistake. Maybe. Maybe not. Qu’est-ce qui te prend (NO s at the end). I’m interested to know your thoughts on this.
Merci d’avance. Amitiées. Victoria

Est-ce que ce qu'il faut d'incluir le 'bien' avec 'qu'est-ce ca peut bien me faire? Ces expressions sont tres utiles. Merci.

Remember to keep the 'Academy of French language' happy and order your questions as we do in English. Question word 'Comment' + aux verb 'as' + subject 'tu' verb 'fait' + preposition 'pour"

Salut Claire,

Je ne comprends bien pourquoi tu dis:

Qu'est qui tu prends ?

au lieu de

Qu'est que tu prends?

Si on dit le dernier, on a tort où non?

Merci.
