The engine in the 2015 model is smaller yet more powerful. The 2.0 liter powerplant produces 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of torque. The AWD system provides tons of grip and amazing response. There is both a 6-speed manual and a CVT transmission. On the inside the design is simple and straightforward with a new gauge cluster and seats.

The 2015 Subaru WRX is a magnificent car thanks to the turbocharged engine and AWD performance.

The car stock actually does 0-60 in 4.8 or less not 5 plus. The drop in the torque curve at 5200 to 5300 is easily fixed by getting rid of the water holding mufflers ie muffler deletes. After that all you need is a tuning port and you smoke the 2.5 STI easily. With the add ons you are still spending less than the STI to go faster and without a wing that does nothing.

So far this thing is getting good reviews by whoever gets their hands on it...the thing a lot of people seem to dislike are the ok by me... it'll get deserving drivers who appreciate the performance aspects and keep away the ones who value form over funtion.

I am a big fan of this car already, so glad they shed the boy racer image and got rid of the annoying burbble sound which was not suitable for everyday driving, I would be able to drive this car to church or take a girl out to dinner without any embarrassments. The refinements are just perfect and the exterior design will attract a larger potential buyer compared ridiculously overdone body of the previous model. I really must say Subaru's product chiefs knew what they were doing with this new WRX!

I can't believe NO online review has brought up the fact that Subaru have gotten rid of the unequal headers meaning the car now no longer makes that Boxer rumble it sounds like every other 2L 4cyl. Talk about removing 1/3 of the cars character (the other 2/3 being handling and styling).

So not only will you have to buy a 3" turbo back system but you will have to buy headers just to get it to sound right.

After watching a different review on the WRX they said the CVT auto was awesome. It was quicker than a Lexus IF and the responses of the shifting was instantaneous. A lot of reviews say the manual is notchy? Just how bad is the manual?

I like the 2015 and what they are doing with it, but I am defintely glad I bought my 2014 while they are still around. That rumble sound makes all the difference to me.... Yeah I like the new interior minus the seats and steering wheel, but I think overall I'm happier with what I have then I would be for this
