Anybody realized the aerodynamic problem of the Trifan 600?
I'll give you a hint: a multicopter uses multiple propulsion units spread out around the center of gravity (CG) of the aircraft. As the visualizations displayed in the video, the CG would need to be located between the back fan and the front fans as well as within the wing section that would provide lift during cruise flight. The shown fuselage, however, is much more extended towards the nose of the aircraft with almost no space between the props/fans nor in the back. So, passengers would sit in front of the CG leaving the spare space behind the back fan only for fuel...

Just looking at the Celera (#1) you can intuitively tell that this is a good aerodynamic shape. The stretched teardrop fuselage isn't new but it's simple and efficient. If this beats the Piaggio Avanti in performance specs for a pusher prop regional transporter, I'd place my bets on it.

This is not new innovation on aviation...This is just makiing old tech better...it's still a tub with jet engine running on oil...or the same helicopter with one blade or 1000...going from horse and wagon to a motorized vehicle was revolutionary to mankind...That's what we need...Different flying shapes, different powers sources, different propulsion systems that are revolutionary...Everything from scratch, never seen before, out of this world, alien to human...That's what the PhD's of this world should be shooting for...!!

A gyrocopter is STOL not VTOL, isn't it? Fan pushes forward blades start spinning then lift.
