A look here at one of Intel's newest chipsets available for both their 12th and 13th generation CPUs using the Socket 1700. There is a DDR4 and DDR5 variant to this mother. Here, we will be looking at the DDR4 version.

Hello! How is the sound quality on this motherboard?

I recently built a pc with this Motherboard. Now I've been really busy after building it so I didn't notice. But today I saw that a red light is flashing under my GPU. Near the 1st M.2 slot. I immediately called the service centre and they told me that its the signal for SSD running. But I am confused how I didn't notice it before. Can you please confirm does any such red light blick normally in that motherboard near the 1st M.2 slot?

If anyones interested; I recently built a PC with this Mobo and have the intel i7 14700K. Having no problems at all so far, and the mobo came with a recent BIOS update out of the box so didn't need to do the flash update

Hi im new to pc building and im about to build my b760 tomahawk wifi ddr4, do i need to download the latest bios in the support page which is currently "7D96v18" or just check if there will be any problem with current bios my motherboard will have? The MSI support service said only download it if there are abnormalities in my PC. can you give some advise if having the stock bios is better or the "7D96v18" is a must?

i have an 13500 on a msi 760 meg tomahawk, and the HWMonitor shows cpu 1.500 v and under it vdd2 1.200 v, as cpu-z shows 1.500 v too. So does my cpu runs with 1.5volts? How lower at voltage can a 13500 can run? I run R23 multi-core and the 13500 hit 100c with pure rock 2 cooler. is it normal ? keep up the good work.

I have a question with this board, I bought an i7 13700k, if I directly put the generation 13 processor on this board, will it be compatible? Because I read that it must be updated first with a generation 12 processor.

Hello, I have a question (beforehand I'm Spanish and I'm using Google Translate so I don't know how good the English you describe is). My question is: I intend to purchase this motherboard but in the DDR5 version, accompanied by an I5-14600KF. To update the BIOS to use the 14 series do I necessarily need a previous generation processor? Or does it boot into BIOS without needing a processor? since I don't see anywhere that has a flash BIOS button, and I don't want to go through the stress of getting a previous generation processor, or having to take it to a maintenance center to have the bios updated...
