I recently built a pc with this Motherboard. Now I've been really busy after building it so I didn't notice. But today I saw that a red light is flashing under my GPU. Near the 1st M.2 slot. I immediately called the service centre and they told me that its the signal for SSD running. But I am confused how I didn't notice it before. Can you please confirm does any such red light blick normally in that motherboard near the 1st M.2 slot?

For ddr4 this motherboard would probably be good enough. For anyone getting ddr5 I would not get this as you can only really feel the advantage of ddr5 once you hit the 7200+ speeds and tune it. Even the good z790 boards have trouble hitting the 7200+ speeds unless you get the expensive ones like aorus master, maximus hero/extreme/apex. You really need at least an 8 layer pcb mobo to hit 7000+ comfortably. The qvl lists of vendors are a joke and you shouldn’t trust it. For someone on a budget, they really should go ddr4 samsung b die chips and tune it to 4000c15. That pretty much ties ddr5 7000.

Compared this to the z690 gigabyte aorus elite ddr 4 wifi? Should I get this board instead? I don't plan to upgrade to dd5 anytime soon. I feel speeds will be faster in 2 years and cheaper and I want to revolve my cpu around the i5 13th gen
