A tiny dollar store spatula or the silicone stir sticks let’s resin and some other companies include free with their resin work like a charm to get most all the paste out of your bowl. More paste kept, way easier cleanup- it’s a win win!

Here's a tip for the staining on your mortar and pestle. The reason the pigment is staining it is because the material it's made out of is very porous. If you get a glass mortar and pestle it won't stain like that. 😊

THANK YOU for this idea, I HATE throwing away those little bits of resin. Yes, resin is too expensive to waste. Great video!

Could do this with old eyeshadow I expect.

Tracey~I just watched this tonight & I was thinking you probably have so much of that part A resin is maybe because u used all your extra part B in your last batch of pigment pastes. You are too hard on yourself! You are an amazing artist!

Love this idea. One of the resins weight more than the other, I forget which. Pouring you heart out she did a thing on it.

just a sugestion, when you are cleaning the bowl pop a bit of the colour on the jar lid, that way you can see the colour from the top.

I watched Steve McDonald makes his own and he did it on a pane of glass and a putty knife. He always uses part b and that’s what I always seem to have left over. I love the idea of using my micas though. Top idea Tracey ❤

I have always had an issue with one or the other being leftover. Not just you and I measure them as correctly as I possibly can! Thank you, this is a wonderful idea, not wasting the expensive resin and hardeners. Beautiful colors.

This has been my plan for a long time. I have titanium dioxide too. And a morter and pestle. I didn't think about using part b of the resin though. I had heard you use only part a. Good to know, and great video❤

Awesome!! What a great idea… the powder surprises are incredibly frustrating. And yes, I know precisely the scene in the movie you referred to. 😂 The silver paste is a dead ringer for melted metal!

There are universal resins that can be used without any issues instead of using the regular resin one uses in pours and such. Many are used by big companies that make pastes and paints to alleviate the resin compatibility. Just a thought to check into those companies as it’s considered a good way to make pastes. I’ve tons of mica here so this is a great shortcut for using up those fly away powders. But I’m going to snag some of the additive and compare the results. ❤

Hi, I watch Pouring your heart out as well - she made a YouTube clip on 1:1 ratio for resin - I use it with let’s resin, craft resin and it works brilliantly. Basically, you use a little less of b than a. I have followed this for over a year and the finish at the same time also no problems with any pieces at the end. Love your videos ❤❤
